Thanksgiving

I asked the girls what they're thankful for: Lolli: "I'm thankful for Jesus and God." Poppy: "I'm thankful for everyone giving me food. And everyone giving me dessert when after I eat my food."

Getting hurt

Zach decided to cut Ozzie's nails while I ran down to CVS last night. As I handed him the clippers and walked out the door, I jokingly said, "If you cut him, I'll hurt you." Well as I was paying, my phone rang and it was Zach telling me he was ready to face his punishment because Oz was bleeding :/ I got home to find Zach's shirt splattered with Oz blood. But the little man himself was all bandaged up and swaddled and calm. Lolli told me the whole story in full detail and then wanted to count how many times Ozzie has been hurt in his life. We came up with 6: twice for shots, twice when Lolli tripped over his bouncey seat and landed on him, once when Poppy rolled him off the couch, and now the snipped thumb. Then Lolli surmised she's probably been hurt, "hundreds of thousands of times." She's probably right LOL BTW, Zach did manage to snip 9/10 nails without incident; it was only the last one that got bloody. But still.... this is why I do no cut my kids' nails. They're still sharp, just shorter now. Oh well! (PS - No Zachs were harmed in the making of thos story ;)
